Hey STX residents:
I have one night on STX this week and am already making dinner plans.
Is it worth the trek to H2O or should I stick with my trusty faithful Tutto Bene?
Alternatively, is there another locale I should try?
THANKS!

Not that I'm in any position to recommend eateries yet (I'm looking forward to the answer to this question as much as you are!), but I think the answer is going to depend on where you'll be and if you have access to a car or want to spring for cab fare.

If it happens to be tomorrow night that you're down here, the answer is clear: you should try Off the Wall, and plan to be there at 6 pm. That's our Get Together night and destination, and I know I'm not the only one from STX that would love to shake your hand and say thank you in person!

Oh, no competition please trust a former trained chef. Tuto Bene every time. Oddly enough the bar menue is somewhat ok on the H2o menu. I was not impressed with the other food. Gave me a 3 day heartburn.

Tuto Bene has great food and homemade desserts. Just make sure to have reservations they are very busy.

Please tell the chef hello from me

I only had one experience at H2O, and it was less than stellar. Have never had a bad meal at Tutto Bene, both present location and formerly in town. You might consider Kendrick's, which boasts one of the better chefs in the Caribbean. It's a little pricey as compared to TB, though.

Tutto Bene it is then.
Thanks all and have a great time at your get-together tonight!
