I'm working on planning my next trip back to STX (have to check on my land and make sure all the tan tan is still right where I left it :)), and it looks like I'll probably be flying in on Halloween, most likely on the last Cape Air flight that evening. That puts me on island a bit late, but is there anything happening for Halloween? I don't remember what I did when I was living there... might have been working! Thanks!

As you can see by all the responses - not much must be happening for Halloween in de VI.
Some bars have people that show up in costume but can't say I have heard of anything special happening in STT as yet but then again, it is only the end of July. Maybe Yacht Haven Grande will have something but that won't do you much good as you'll be in STX.
Can't say about STX/STJ.

Happy Birthday to my neice, Val, in Tortola, while I am thinking of special days!

Probably very few Halloween parties have been scheduled or finalized yet for this year. Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, and most parties will probably be on the weekend before, with one or two on Halloween itself. That is based on how parties were scheduled in the past 2 years, as seen at http://www.stcroixcalendar.com/events_October_2011.cfm and http://www.stcroixcalendar.com/events_October_2010.cfm .

There's an awesome halloween party at the Palms at Pelican Cove on St Croix. Trust me, it's worth going to, you'll have a blast.

The best stories always come out of the palms party. 🙂
