That's kind of like Native Virgin Islander. It depends on who's definition you use. Most people define HD as 720p and above.

The networks ABC and CBS feed their affiliates using 720p feeds. 1080i or 1080p results from upconversion.

Very interesting Rotorhead! I keep learning thigs all the time.
I'll see what my contacts can tell me about the PR and VI networks. Maybe this needs to be escalated. I wasn't aware that Dish was supplying VI nets to PR. Do you know if they recieve them in HD?

This is the first reply I received this morning. We'll at least see what they say from a Dishnetwork management standpoint instead of a CSR on the phone. Great tip Rotorhead. I'll keep you posted.

I forwarded your appeal to Dave E. my Commercial Department Manager.
He has a rapport with some of the Dish Network Management that may help your cause.
