Yes, I know this topic has been covered over and over and over, but I was told I need a Health Card for an after school program that I'm doing, and I have a few questions.

Does anyone have the exact times that this process can be done? Since I'm a teacher, I don't have the availability during the day, and I'm also teaching an after school program. Are they open on Saturdays?

And, can someone review the process again for me? I know that I need to go to Place A and give them a sample & pay some money; then I need to get the results and go to Place B, pay some more money and get my card.

Thanks!

Go to lab with "sample"...If you go to Beeston hill you can get everything done the same day. Sunny isle lab is a 2 day wait for results.

Once you get the results...take it to Charles Harwood and get card...

I just got my heatlh card this week. I went to Beeston Hill lab with my sample and got my results within 5 minutes for $25. I was told there that you can only go for the Health card between the hours of 8-10 AM and 1-2 PM Monday - Friday. So I went there the following morning and took a number and waited about 45 minutes before being called in and then got my card within 10 minutes for $30.

Thanks for all the information. I got the "deed" done today!

I went to Beeston Hill with my sample and got my results within 5 minutes too! They were absolutely awesome people! (For me, this was a very humbling experience. I've never had to carry my crap around and present it to someone.)

Then, I went to Charles Harwood - I was #1 in line, and had the process completed in about 30 minutes.

Once I was finished, I was reminded again of why I love to live here! The people on this board are so helpful; the people on this island are so helpful (I had to ask directions so many times at the hospital); the driver's on this island are so courteous; and it was a beautiful day outside. Who can ask for more?

I think you probably should have also gotten a lottery ticket -- your luck was running high!
