Can anyone please tell me if any of the ob/gyn doctors have websites for their practices on St. Croix?? Or a website for the hospital on St. Croix. I have tried searching the internet myself, but keep getting "no listing for that name or business." Thank you for any information you give me.

Here is the Juan Luis website: http://www.jflusvi.org/ It is under construction, like lots of stuff around here!:D Can't help you with the ob-gyn question, but I know that there are not many physicians in the VI who do keep websites.

I really like Dr. Treasure over in Barren Spot. It's usually very easy to get in to see her, and she's extremely professional and thorough. There are only 3 OB/GYNs on STX though, so the labwork generally takes awhile. Her number's 719-9876. Good luck! Also, a fantastic help for us newer folks is viphonebook.com. It's the online telephone directory for the islands.

Shannan Calhoon, CNM/ARNP has her own website - she is part of the group in Dr. Prassad's office by food town.
http://shannancalhooncnm.webs.com/aboutme.htm
I like her and it's a fancy new medical center - I don't think the office has their own website though.

Then there's this website: http://vihealth.com/rehab/doctors.htm but it's out of date.

Hello,
....and for hospital ratings/ quality performance (albeit limited data from the USVI hospitals) try here.

http://www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov/Tables/hospital-pocQualityTable.aspx?hid=480001%2c480002&lat=18.3414144&lng=-64.9178158&stype=GENERAL&&stateSearched=VIRGIN+ISLANDS&measureCD=SCIPGOV JUAN F LUIS HOSPITAL & MEDICAL CTR
Medicare lists their "corporate" offficial contact as:
#4007 EST DIAMOND RUBY, CHRISTIANSTED
ST CROIX,VI 00820
(809) 778-6311

If the link link does not work just go to the www.medicare.gov homepage

select " Facilities & Doctors" , select Hospitals then place St. Thomas or St. Crois, US Virgin Islands in your search box.
For data/ info on Physicians , Physicians Groups, Clinical Groups Select Locate a Doctor compare tool. I did the search but for some reason, the site only provided OB GYN data on STT OB Physicians.
If there is any chance a pregnancy or condition is serious or high-risk you may want to seek health care in PR or Miami if feasable at all.

Regards & take Care
lv2fish, a caring R.N.
