HI,
I must get health insurance before I come. Can anyone please tell me who to contact down there? or a list companies and their phone #'s
preferably 800 #'s to call to enquire?

Hi,
I posted the question regarding health insurance.
My parents know a family whose son was out of the us and did not have health insurance.
He ended up needing major surgery for something and his parents were wiped out paying the bill. They lost everything they had saved their entire lives and had to claim bankruptcy.
Please consider this story when moving to the islands or anyplace else.

There are several health insurance firms writing here. Try Amedex (There are several agents around but the only number I know is 340-776-7000 and ask for the health insurance division) or lifeboat (www.lifeboatmedical.com) are two.
