Well, the ambulances have sirens. That's about the extent of my knowledge there. 😉 The Daily News just published the salaries of the government workers. I don't have that here, but can get it for tomorrow. You can see if you can find it on line,but I bet they didn't publish it on their website,although if you subscribe to the online paper, maybe?

Sirens, extremely cool stuff :-)... o.k. if anybody is working as emt or paramedic he maybe can tell a few things about the vi emergency medical service.

But thank you for the answer east ender. (Sirens... really good 8-))

I finally remembered to look at the salaries listed in the Daily News. EMT basic is around $30-37K, EMT Intermediate is $32-39K, EMT Paramedic is $37-46K, EMT Cardiac is $37-46K. Training supervisors are $51K. The coordinator is $87,500. There are some lower and a few higher within each, but these seem to be the general amounts.
