Hi all, my name is James and yup....you guessed it.....I'm thinking about the big move down to da' islands. I'm headed down next week for 6 days for a PMV (yes, I have been reading the message boards for a few days). I'm staying with a friend who moved down there in august for his new job on st. thomas and was going to explore the resorts around STT and STJ to see whats available for the season.I've scoured their websites, but they haven't been of much help. From what I can gather, it's best to just show up with resume in hand,a good attitude, and appropriate attire. Any suggestions from you guys?....About me: 27 yo, currently living in the DC area for the past 4 years and tired of the grind. We had 6 feet of snow here last year and farmer's almanac says were in for another bad winter. went to college in Montana and have started to grow tired of the winter seasons (minus the skiing)...the traffic and the people here make me want to kick my own teeth in so my buddy suggested I come check out STT for awhile and see if I like it. OK, let the yea's and nay's begin......

Welcome... sounds like you're doing your homework. A 6 week PMV should give you a pretty good idea of how things work. Best of luck and keep us posted!
