It is near 5 Corners west of Christiansted. I think they have a view but I have never been in one of the apartments. 340-773-6901

Map of St.Croix with neighborhoods

Take a look at the map, Orange Grove is straight down from the . in St.Croix. Very close to town, centrally located.

Go to Google Earth then 17degress 45'06.73N by 64degrees 43'30.02 W and find Golden Rock apartments. 5 Corners is a little west. It is an intersection with 5 corners

Orange Grove apts OR Golden Rock Apts????

Golden Rock apts. are near 5 corners. I don't know about Orange Grove apts. Are they the ones on the back road near the shopping center (where The Easterly is located)?

I was very curious, so I did a drive by this afternoon on the road behind Golden Rock. The complex I was thinking of is called Orange Grove Villas. There was a sign saying the complex was HUD financed. Doesn't that mean it's subsidized/section 8? If so, then I don't think a travel nurse would qualify for an apartment.

I recently learned of an FHA loan program specifically for apartment complexes that did not require rent caps or participation in special programs, so maybe it's something like that, but I think I actually called the number on their sign once a year ago and got a recording about the application process, through the government.

mngirl,
I know you arrive tomorrow, but if you can check with your staffing company to verify the apartment, that might be a good thing. Is your company one that has done placements in our area for a while? Please let us know where you wind up.

Very close, but much better, is Ocean Terrace. Many residents are traveling professionals.

Dale Muir is the manager/ (340) 773-6901 or 332-8413.
