Hermit Crabs Migrate by the Thousands

They used to do that here, especially in the location by the Red Hook salt pond/ferry dock where they would come down from the hillsides in droves. That is, until they would all get run over as the east end became more popular and populated.

Hermit crabs are not good to eat. Great for bait, tho.
