Good Afternoon!

I will be moving to the Cane Bay area of St. Croix soon and I am wondering what's the best choice for high speed internet. I will be working remotely from my computer so connection speed is very important to me. From what I can gather the most I can expect is 512kbs. Is that true? And if so which company would you go with and why?

Thanks!! Anne

BroadBandVI offers 512k service for $50 a month or 1M service for $100 per month. You should call and ask if they cover where you will live.

I didn't know there was a 1M option, thanks for the heads-up and the contact info!

Good afternoon, elite-geek-girl -- search the archives; there's a ton of info on this topic. Unfortunately it does not change much from year to year. Good luck to you!

I searched "high speed internet" and got 4 posts about hotel connectivity and ATT service and then searched "internet provider" and got nothing. :@)

for a geek girl you sure are not concerned with spam 🙂 I wouldn't advise using your actual email address for a login name

It's a tricky search function; make sure you change the range from "last 30 days" to "all".
