Hey all!

New to the board and wanted to say "hello"! I've been reading up and think you guys have a wonderful board. I'm 28, currently living in maine. Going to school for wooden boat building and marine systems tech. Was wondering if anyone has some *real* photos of STX? I can look at brokers and resort pics all day long. I don't think they capture the real thing like an islander would.

Looking to jump right into VI life early next year. Well traveled in caribbean countries and islands. Going to make STX my own, be happy and poor in paradise. Love what i've seen and heard about your little island. How are the marinas down there? I think you have like 3 of them?

Anyway, i hope all are happy and healthy. Good luck to all, just wanted to introduce myself.

Wes

what school are going to, and what do you want pictures of? If you want a job down here, give Roger a call at Gold Coast.

I'm attending the landing school of boat building and design. Finishing up the small boat program and then doing systems later this year. It's a great school, having a great time.

Any pics would be awesome, people, markets, landscape, etc. Do you know what they're paying down there for systems guys? I'll have all of my ABYC certs next year. Thanks for the post Geoff.

For pictures.. Should be able to see mine and my buddy, who took a bunch of pictures while vacationing here. I only tend to take pictures when i have visitors, so a lot of mine are vacationy, but they are from a real person, not a travel agent. 🙂
