I am building a small two bedroom house on St. John and I'm looking for a substantial home generator for backup to WAPA. We have looked at Home Depot. Anyone have any other ideas?

Just giving you a bump-up here. Anyone have any good ideas on where to get a good sized generator besides Home Depot?

Check the yellow pages in the VI phone book. There are distributors in Puerto Rico. Also you can purchase a generator stateside and have it shipped via Tropical or some other freight forwarder. It will cost you several hundred dollars for freight plus duties.
