Hi all,
Love reading all the posts here! Makes me sooooo homesick for my future home! Got my first taste of fall weather today which made me even more homesick! Been wearing a sweatshirt and my warm sheepskin lined slippers(guess I might as well use them as much as I can since I won't need them when I move to STX)!! I am also afraid they would be a wonderful nest for centipedes or those huge orange tarantula like spiders that I personally had the misfortune to meet up with as it was crawling up my leg during our stay in April! But even that has not changed my mind about moving to STX . QUESTION: Are those spiders poisonous-can't seem to get a straight answer on that one-LOL!!!

I will say that fall in the Washington DC area is lovely. I think HipCrip mentioned it was a favorite time of year for her.

We live on 2 acres and back up to a state park so when the leaves turn it is gorgeous though my preferred scenery is the gorgeous blue shades of the Caribbean. I'll be taking some photos or my daughter will since she is taking a photography course in school so if anyone wants to see them I will email to you.

And you guys are not alone in the bad weather department. We had tornado watches in my area on Friday and they were popping up everywhere in Leesburg & Manassas in Northern Virginia, Frederick &Germantown, MD and Southern Maryland. We have tons of huge trees around our house so I headed for the basement with my daughter and 4 of her good friends who were spending the night. This is all a result of Hurricane Ivan.
Something tells me we are in for a long cold & snowy winter! OH NO!!

Well that's all for now!
