Does anyone know of a cleaning person or company that cleans houses? I tried searching through previous threads and had no luck. I also tried the phone book and they mostly advertised for office cleanings and some numbers were disconnected. The only place that does clean houses never called me back.
I am interested in a deep cleaning (mopping, sweeping, bathroom tubs, tiles, toilets) done once or twice a month.

The best way to find a reliable cleaning person is through personal recommendation from all your friends - needing someone twice a month can easily be an extra money pickup job for someone who is already doing houses on a more regular basis - so start asking everyone you know if they have someone that they are happy with and if a day or 2 a month would be interesting to their cleaning person - you may have to pick them up somewhere or take them to a convenient transportation location since this will almost always be a private individual who is cleaning houses for a living and may not have a car and is feeding a family instead with the income.
