Can anyone tell me a good area to live in St. Thomas for someone in their late 20's? I am moving down to STT in September and I have no idea where to live. I am also looking for the name(s) of a good insurance company.

Thanks

Dave

I'm partial to the south side of the island, just east of town, like Estate Bakkeroe and Frenchman's Bay area. It's a little drier in terms of humidity, so not everything in your house feels damp when you come home. It's breezy without blowing you down (some places up on the Northside are really windy, but it's also very cool up there). I like being able to see the cruise ships come and go, as it makes for a great view at night!

As for insurance, I have had experience with Baker Magras before and had no problems. They administrated my work's health insurance plan, but they do every kind of insurance.
