How long is the typical wait between a change in rack rate and change in gas station prices? In other words do most owners use a FIFO inventory system and need to use what they bought before they show lower prices (my guess) or a LIFO system which would show a near immediate price change? Or something else completely?

it goes up right away when it increases, and VERY slowly down. Additionally, it always goes up more than the rack increase, and down less than the rack decrease, so they continually build more into their profit numbers. Any everyone pretty much moves the same, except for the ones who are always more expensive.
