Hopefully their relocation package to you will include paying the private school tuition for your sons. They offer that to some positions but not others. Also check the contract to see how much of a housing stipend they give you monthly and how long that will continue. You should be able to find a 2-BDR house or condo for under $2K per month. It's harder to find anything decent for a whole lot less. Once you are on-island you might be able to locate cheaper housing through word-of-mouth, but if you want to arrange your living situation prior to arriving (and with kids, I suspect this is likely), then you probably will have trouble finding a bargain long-distance.

The two main private schools are Good Hope and Country Day. Those are the ones that Hovensa typically will cover tuition for. There are a few other private schools that are less expensive and do fine for children your son's ages, so if their tuition isn't being paid directly by Hovensa, you might also want to consider some of the other choices. Do NOT put them in public schools here!

You can get most of the other info you need by browsing past topics on this website. If you have specific questions along the way, just ask!
