My apologies 🙂
Hi all - I just joined the board a week ago. Typical story I suppose...I've been thinking about relocating to an island setting since my travels in high school and college. I'm currently living in San Francisco - I moved out this way from Houston to go to college in the late 80's.
My trips to the VI, Hawaii and Mexico planted the seed and it's been growing ever since. I'm recently kinda 'self-unemployed', unmarried, and don't really have anything keeping me in SF...except a few good friends and cheap rent thanks to rent control 🙂
Unless someone throws a ridiculously killer job in my face, I don't realistically see myself moving off the mainland for at least a year and a half, but this board sure can make one want to move asap!
Well, I guess that's about all for now. Just wanted to officially introduce myself to the group.

Hey Greg! i'm in Sacramento and will be heading out to stt first of next February! And your right reading here everyday makes me want to jump on the plane and just be a bum till I get going =)
But in our favor, time really does fly! Keep your head up your depature will be hear quiker than you think 🙂
