I know it's foolhearty to hope that the ideal of Caribbean waters will bring some sort of storybook existence, but every day I spend here seems to prove that foolish wish true. Here is a picture of my little boy oogling today's cruise ship at the Fredericksted pier. I am so very grateful for the moment I captured in this picture. Thank you USVI!

Aw, the honeymoon stage!! Seriously, after a year plus, we still love it, but I'm starting to really see and understand some of the things that take away from the idyllic life in the USVIs. I think we will be here for a while longer, however, I don't think we will be here forever. I do love the Island Life, so pretty sure that when we are "done" with STT, we will just find another island. 🙂

Oh am admittedly very much still in the honeymoon phase! We moved here in October but have been here a few times before moving. I have already had my share of frustrations regarding price of essentials, bad customer service, etc. But then I have days like yesterday that were just so beautiful and I am so grateful that my kids get to experience this that I just feel swept away in foolish love lol. Exploiting the idealism while I've got it, I suppose 😎
