I have heard that it is illegal down there to catch a small iguana and turn it into the family pet.... Is this true? I have also been told if you kill an iguana no matter how big a pest it may be it is a huge fine plus jail time.
I'm confused... are your iguanas different than the one I have as a pet?

iguanas are frequent road kill on STT, but that doesn't equate to jail time.

There are very few iguanas on STX.

If it's not illegal it should be. Wild life should not be caught and forced to live in captivity as entertainment for people.
