Can anyone recommend someone who is extremely well versed in the IRS tax code?
We have an issue that I need some assistance on and the IRS doesn't have a clue how to answer it. I have read all the Publications relating to the issue and they do not address my particular situation. The IRB on STT are totally incompetent so I don't need a recommendation to contact them!

I don't have a recommendation, but if it's strictly about IRS tax code, then you might consider expanding your search beyond STX. (eg: STT, PR or the mainland). Also, local CPAs have resources to research questions, even if they don't know it off-hand, so you might try some of the better local CPAs, like Jim Sheets.

Well, I already spoke to someone on PR and they are clueless also. The issue is not in regards to rocket science but no one seems to be able to answer it. Thanks for the recommendation! I would just call a CPA but many accounts are not versed anymore than I am on IRS tax code.

try jim sheets/ david johnson. if they can not help ask them for a reccomendation
