Hi. Does anyone know if there are a lot of insects on the Virgin Island beaches?

Insects on the beaches - no not many. During the day usually there arent any at all, the sun seems to keep them away. If the late afternoons, evenings when the things get a big cooler sometimes there are mosquitos and no see ums; usually this is the case when it rains and the sand is wet and stagnent water is sitting in and around the trees which invites mosquitos. Not a big problem though. If you want to go for walks in the afternoon perhpas buy some Off from the grocery store, just in case.
