Good Afternoon,

I recently purchased a home on St Croix and would one day like to make a move to the island full-time. The move would require me to seek employment. I understand that many have made the move and had to switch careers in order to pay the bills. I have been checking the want ads and other on line employment sites but have not found anything that interests me. I have taken stock of my skill-set and believe that I would be ideally suited for any of the following positions should they become available;

Beach Patrol Technician - For this position I would be available to visit the island beaches (perhaps one or two a day) and report back on overall conditions such as; softness of sand, wind and wave conditions, swimming and snorkeling opportunities, private or crowded, facilities available etc. As conditions change day to day and from season to season I would need to visit the beaches many times in order to provide an accurate picture. I am willing to make this a full-time year round job.

Restaurant/ Night Club/ Bar checker outer - For this position I would be willing to dine, drink, and dance at the island venues and report back my findings, reviews and recommendations.

Pot Hole Surveyor - For this position I would be willing to drive around the island while listening to the stereo and take note of the island pot holes while trying to avoid them. Once again I am assuming this would be a full-time position.

Night Skyman - For this position I would be willing to sit on my deck or perhaps my hot tub and look up at the sky and report on things like falling stars and UFO's etc. I would be available from 7-10pm weeknights and 7-11pm on weekends. But if it is raining then I will need off.

Cable TV/ Internet readiness reporter - For this position I would watch TV and surf the internet and stuff. I would report any problems.

Anyway. I am seeking a salary of $30,000 - $40,000 per year plus any expenses incurred such as gas, food, suntan lotion, snacks, etc. If anyone knows of these positions being available please feel free to contact me. 🙂

Sorry, but the job of beach inspector is taken. At some point in the future I might need an assistant.
