Hello all! I have a one-way ticket and a temp place to stay--will be arriving December 1st and I can't wait! I am trying to find out if there are any places on St.Thomas where one can go to use computer equipment to check email, surf internet, etc. I have read the posts on internet access availability but haven't found any mention of cyper cafes, libraries with computer access, etc. I am thinking of buying a cheap laptop to bring with me, but haven't decided yet. Any input would be appreciated!

Dear Amy,
There are a few "cyber cafes"- both in Havensight and downtown. Downtown, there's Beans, Bytes & Websites. I'm sure folks on the board can help with the names of the ones in Havensight.
Over in STJ, there are a few as well.
Additionally, there's wi-fi available in American Yacht Harbor, Frenchtown, and Crown Bay Marina from GreenFlash- www.greenflashnetworks.com
