Is $50,000.00 cash on hand enough to make an easy move to STX???

I fingered this will be enough to get settled easily, and still have an escape fund if necessary. I'll be bringing a vehicle and have a professional nursing job lined up at JFL. Any advice???

If that'll cover first, last and a month's security for rent along with any setups for utilities, etc. you'll probably manage to scrape by on that.

Make sure you tell everybody the day and time your flight lands too

I'll be carrying on me in small, unmarked bills too! Accessible via bank is what I have in mind.

If this is cash over $10K you are bringing with you better have documentation where you got it from. CBP TSA and DEA can confiscate undocumented cash. Happens in the mainland every day. They actually love to do that as most people do not claim it back.

That amount should be more than adequate for your needs.
Good luck in getting settled in and welcome to the VI.

depends on your life style; for a minimalist, that's more than enough.

Depends on how big an estate you want to lease.
