My husband are considering a move to VI. I have a job opportunity as a physician there. I've been reading the forums and have read pros and cons of lots of things...I haven't seen much about life with young children. I will have a 6 month old and 2 year old when we move. Any thoughts about living there with young children?

there are a few members with young children on here that can help. i would think it would be great with young children but i would start to get worried when they get older unless you can send them to private school.

We LOVE raising our little kids here!!!

We have three boys, age 5, 3, and 10 months -- and moved here when the oldest was 6 months. We've found a really neat community of families, and endless fun things to do with kids.

Feel free to PM me for more information.

Rosy, we love raising our beach baby her, but I admit that we will probably leave the territory before she's school age... Now saying that, we thought we were only here for a year and 3-1/2 yrs & 2 islands later, we're still here +1.

It's certainly not for everyone. But there's a great network of parents on both StX and STT.
Where are you considering?
