Jobs in distribution - STX

I will be coming down to the island later on this year as my husband has accepted a job on STX. The timing actually works out because I am getting laid off from my job here back on the mainland. I've done some poking around but wanted to know of distributors on the island. I would be coming down with 12+ years of distribution CS and account rep experience but wasn't sure how much of a need there is for that on the island. My husband is moving early than I am but I was hoping to visit some places and meet some potential employers when I come down to visit in July.

Thank you

Any particular kind of distributor? We're a small island with a small economy. We have to special order just about everything from the mainland if it's not at Kmart. I doubt we have much for distributors.

Liqueur and food distributors are the first thing that comes to mind.

Coca Cola, Bellows International, Premier Wines & Spirits, Quality Foods are a few of them on St. Croix.

Same companies operate on STT as well.
Good luck with your move to STX.

That's what i was thinking. I have a friend on island that mentioned Quality Food but wasn't sure who else there was.

There are quite a few as the ones islandjoan already mentioned.
Also West Indies Corporation, Merchant's Market, Frito Lay, Hunter Foods and Spirits, to name a couple more.
