Hi,
just moved to st. croix from chicago. I was working as a direct service provider/supported living assistant (reinforcing daily living task, taking individuals on outings, passing meds, etc). I was wondering if any one knows agencies that have these types of jobs
thanx in advance

Check with the people at Lutheran Social Services, they have a residential program for the dd population here. VI Behavioral Services provides residential services as well, although it is more for the adolescent population, thare than DD adults.

VICEDD at UVI is a resource program for the disabled, they may be able to steer toward some providers that I am unaware of as well.

My friend has her degree in sign language, do you think that this agency might be good for her too? Is the agency for the disabled or just developmentally disabled?

Thanks
