My husband and I are moving to the Virgin Islands shortly (St. Thomas). We have a pair of kayaks that we use here in Ohio on the rivers and lakes. They are 9.5 feet long. Does anyone know if these would be appropriate to use to kayak around St.Thomas. We really love to paddle, but are wondering if we should sell these and get some ocean kayaks or keep our current ones.
