someone taught me how to knit while i was in vermont for summer. but need some more pointers....
does anyone on the east end of stx know how to knit? or enough to show me a few things...
trying to make xmas gifts. would appreciate any info

yes st. croix. and does anyone know where to buy pretty yarn besides divi divi fabric store?
want to make some things for xmas gifts but not sure where to get yarn down here.

I haven't found any good quality yarn on STX. I've had good experiences ordering from KnitPicks, Jimmy Beans Wool, and YarnMarket.

Seconding the recommendation for Yarnmarket. Their customer service is fantastic!
Also, what are you trying to learn to do? I could probably show you...I work at Radio Shack at Sunny Isle, and that's the easiest place to catch up with me. 🙂
