good day all. i posted yesterday but no responses. i guess monday is a bad day. anyway, i would love to chat with anyone interested, as i will be on island april 18.

a few things i would love a response on:

- anyone need anything from the mainland, i.e. seeds, books, cd's, etc. i'll be glad to bring it if i can, plus, it would be a great way to meet some of you.

- anyone need a roommate for a few months or know of any good rental deals? i will be without my family for 3 or 4 months so small and cheap is fine with me.

-i am interested in a boat job. no experience working on boats per se, but, been boating all my life. 13 years in the construction industry, not afraid of hard work, long hours and heavy lifting. also, no drugs here. Pamela are you out there? you seem to be very knowledgable in regards to this subject.

thanks in advance for the responses!

see you in two weeks,

Hello,

There is another post about getting together on St. Croix in late April, early May. Perhaps check that post out; it would be a way to meet people on island.

Go down to the marinas once on island and ask around, also at the charter shops in Christiansted.

All the best. Keep us posted on your progress of settling in once on island.

Thanks for the question. Don't have as much input on STX as STT and STJ but Islander has, as always, the right idea. Just one addition. Go down to the St. Croix Yacht Club. They have a pretty good handle on what's going on.
