I am looking for a law firm to handle a possible real estate transaction. Can anybody recommend a law firm or warn of any bad experiences. Thank you very much.

Donald

You didn't say which island, but I recommend David Nichols on St Thomas- 340-777-8109.

im a mortgage broker by trade so i would have spotted anything out of the norm. that being said, closing costs were similar to u.s. mainland. all the normal costs, title, escrows... however the "wind Insurance" is the big ticket shocker. it can run upwards of $10,000 depending on how much you finance, square footage, deductabe, replacement costs...
