Licensed Board regarding Electricians wanting to relocate and live in STX

🤔...My wife and I are wanting to move and live here in STX. We've been all over the islands and picked our favorite. She can work still and do it remotely, I on the other hand can't. I'm licensed in FL as a journeyman electrician. I need to know what to do on finding a career in my field of work. Is my license good here? What do we need do to make this? Thank you all for your input.

Check with DLCA regarding licensing requirements.

that is the link to DLCA that will tell you about board certification for electricians.  You probably won’t have trouble finding a job.  It’s one of the higher paid trades.   The work will likely be different than what you are used to since the bulk of the homes are poured concrete or filled block.  So there is quite of bit of chipping or surface mount required for remodel/repairs.
