Sounds as though Mr Mapp isn't exactly in the loop on this one with his "may" and his spokesperson's inability to provide any details. 😀

There have been several people from China visiting the island lately to check things out. A friend in the hotel industry said they had been visited by a small delegation looking at hotel capacity and amenities at various properties.
