Just wanted to let eveyone know that Linda had knee replacement surgery this morning. She seems to be doing fine. At four hours after the surgery, they had her stand up, turn around and sit in a chair. At five hours after the surgery, she walked to the bathroom (with the aid of a walker), a distance of about fifteen feet. Right now she is experiencing little to no pain, but I expect that to change. She will be staying in the states doing her rehab until about the middle of August.

Ric,
Glad to hear Linda's doing well. Wish I'd been able to chat with her again before I leave on the 29th. Pass on my well wishes to her, ok? Hopefully I'll see you at OTW before I leave on the 29th. Saturday? My 37th B-day is Friday, so I'll probably be there then, as well.

Happy Birthday early Steve!
Well wishes for a speedy recovery for Linda J.
And congrats to me for officially getting a job today!

Yeah! Now I need to find a roommate or a cheaper place - took a lower paying job - EDC company didn't hire me due to residency.

Anyhow - doesn't matter - I am gainfully employed!

Steve,
Unfortunately, I won't be back on island until 7/2. Have a happy birthday Friday. Tell Annie at OTW I said hi.
