*I am moving to st croix I would like to know about condos I have seen very cheap, 23k or so dont know where they are the only thing i see is long reef could you tell me about this area

It is important to get on the island and look around before making any decisions about where to live. StCroix has several condo developments that appear to be quite inexpensive. Most of them are cheaper because they have big monthly fees (which include insurance, maintenance and repairs). They might also have the potential for a large future bill for repairs and upgrading. Most condo fees here are from about $400 to as much as $1300+ per month.
Long Reef is a small development that appears to need some repairs . The location is not as relevant as the inclination of the condo association to provide Security. Some of the condos on the most beautiful beaches still need to upgrade and provide better security.
All that being said...yes you can find some real condo bargains on st croix. But you need to be here and take the time to learn what is best for you.

Thank for your reply the fees I saw for these condos were very resonable. could there be a crime problem that is responsable for the low price ?
