53!?! Wow. I don't remember a night that was below 70 in the '80s.

I think that is an error with The Weather Channel. Other wearer sources are calling for the normal 72.

It was pretty cool last night but not enough to drag the comforter out.
The cool temps have been a great relief as well as great $$aving from WAPA cost$.

We've been sleeping with a comforter now for 2 months.
I love this weather.

I imagine that the higher altitude you are located the cooler it will be.
I am only about 300ft. above sea level so it is not as cold as a home up at the 900 ft. level.
Did have to drag out a sweater for awhile the other night!
What a gorgeous day today is!
The ground seas have certainly been pounding away the last couple of days.
The sound of the surf has been amazing.
LOVE IT ALL!

Obviously I am not with the mainstream on this issue - I prefer the summer months. While I might not sweat as much this time of year, I won't be getting in my pool until May at the earliest. I don't care for the extremely windy weather and I think it can get uncomfortably chilly some nights, (although I don't recall ever being chilly the first year or two we lived here). We don't use AC anyway so there are no WAPA savings for us. While there are advantages such as less yard work, I prefer the warmer months.

JE is right about not doing much swimming during the winter months when the water is so chilly but I still prefer this time of yr.
over the summer. Things I love about summer is the lack of tourists on all the beaches. Not so much watching the weather channel
for possible storms heading our way. At least this time of year is anxiety free!
