made it to stx...but not without issues

Hi all!
We are here and have had a few slip ups.. I would love to get into this later, but most important right now is that our landlord told us we could have pets and the HOA said no. So now we are staying with my sister in law. If anyone has any leads on a rental that is decent and available right away I would love the help. I have been through the Avis and have talked to a few people but am having a hard time. We really can't spend above $1000 a month and we need for the place to accept pets. We are very clean and clean up after our dog outside (he doesn't make a mess indoors). Size really doesn't matter. Thanks so much!
