The party continues:

"Mapp's March 7 receipt from Moe's Fresh Market in Red Hook included a number of groceries, including Coors Light for $25.99; a package of Nilla Wafers for $3.89; a box of Milk Duds for $1.89; two bottles of Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc wine at $12.99 each; a box of Texas Toast for $4.29; a pack of broccoli florets for $2,59; ripe bananas for $1.96; two containers of Haagen Dazs ice cream for $7.59 each; and numerous other foods and meats."

"I'm not buying the beer and putting it in my pocket," Mapp said Tuesday. He said the purchases are made because he is "entertaining executives."

The purchase of beer and wine is "in our budget. They are authorized," the governor said.

I'm sure the 18-pack of Coors and $1 worth of milk duds went toward "entertaining executives" and didn't go directly into his cavernous belly.

What "executives" are being treated to the Silver Bullet. Sorry, they won't be doing business here. Cupcake wine? You want business better step up your game Mapp.. I suggest a Roger Sabon 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape and at least Heineken or Elephant. $20 says those milk duds didn't make it back to the Ritz.

If the Governor of any place invited me to his house for dinner and he served me frozen broccoli and texas toast I would be a little disappointed.

That's what he's got a chef for?

This governor could do with a good dose of integrity.
However, since that and ethical conduct seem to be unknown to him and apparently the Legislature and the AG seem to not see anything wrong with this behavior and wasteful spending of taxpayer money, we may as well suck it up unless people get serious and demand it stop by a recall.

The guy is pretty brazen defending his expenditures.
He feels entitled.

That's better than him serving you bs which is what he usually serves.
