Just feel lucky that you cannot be prosecuted for testing positive when you're admitted to a hospital. Those drug tests are given for diagnostic purposes that can save your life. A huge percentage of my patients would be locked up! And yes,....most of them are on public assistance of some kind. And no, they do not only test positive for "harmless" weed,..all the really nasty things too.

Well, yes, an opinion column is exactly the same as studies. It's also funny that people pigeonhole me as "liberal". Hardly the case.. Like I said, the boomers will be out of power soon and my generation will be spending the next 20 years fixing their antiquated thinking. It is already happening, much to the chagrin of a many. Damn, I feel so blessed never to have been pigeon-holed into either a liberal or conservative slot. Even the "independent" label has been dissected and diced to form a conglomerate patty. 😀
