:S

I have recently had some amazing success with behavioral therapies in the states and we will be relocating in just weeks. I can't find insurance for any mental health coverage. Does anyone know the cost of seeing a psychiatrist for adult ADD? I was recently diagnosed and don't want to go without treatment through this life changing move for my husband and I.

I am slowly transitioning into natural ways to deal with it. I have changed my diet and also would like to know that certain organic health foods will be available to me. Does anyone know if So Delicious brand coconut milk can be found on st. croix? I am a juicer and would like to continue with a mostly raw diet. Will this be do-able?

Thanks in advance.

Hi lemondrop,

Which island?

Here is a link to the local telephone directory. You can access the yellow pages for all island and call physchiatrists and or health food stores. (As a matter of fact, it can be a bit confusing for a newbie, because quite often the island isn't mentioned, and if you aren't familiar, you won't know which island you are calling. So...be sure to ask.).

On STX, we have Health Concious, but it's small and doesn't carry a large variety of brands. STT has Natural Food Store (is that the name?), still small but with a better selection than we have on STX. Most of the grocery stores have a small health food section, but again, not much to choose from. You may need to order some things online or ask the store owners to order special products for you. You may need to be a bit flexible on brands, if possible.
