What are the typical daylight hours over the year? When, if at all, are the daylight hours the longest, shortest? Are offices open on Memorial Day? Is the 4th of July a celebrated day? I have read about islands holidays that are celebrated. Just some different questions, thanks.

Daylight - 6:15/6:30 till 6pm-7pm depending on time of year. In the winter months is when the sun sets earlier so it is dark around 6pm or thereabouts. All federal holidays are observed in the USVI with offices closed. 4th of July is celebrated, St. John has its Carnival Parade on the 4th, on other islands offices are closed.
