Please be on the lookout for two missing dogs that were last seen in Little Princess (Sugar Mill Vet Clinic). They have escaped and will be unfamiliar with their surroundings. I have no details - but will post as soon as I can. One is a Rotty or Rotty mix, the other is a German Shepherd Dog. Would possibly (hopefully) be running together and are assumed friendly. If anyone knows or hears of them found, please notify the shelter or the Sugar Mill Vet Clinic immediately. If anyone has better info than I do , please advise. Lets get these dogs back home safely!

I have a bit more info.. they are indeed a German Shepherd and a Rottweiler that were being boarded there. They have been gone since Wednesday. They have been spotted in the area by staff of the clinic but have not been caught yet. The Animal Shelter has provided a trap to help catch them but the traps really work best on hungry strays, not healthy owned pets so I'm not hopeful that they would be trapped right away. I'm sure this weather is not helping as the thunder and lightining is very scary for many dogs... if anyone gets a glimpse of them or hears of someone finding them... please contact the shelter 778-1650 or the clinic immediately. The key here is to get to them before they continue moving or get into the hands of the wrong individuals.

I have not heard as yet if they've been recovered. Please advise if you hear anything and I will too.

Oh... and I was at the shelter less than a week ago and there were two shepherd there. Once looked like a purebred female about one year old and the other was an awesome white shepherd. If you know anyone looking for a good dog... the shelter has so many! Adopt! There was one at cost-u-less yesterday called 'Fiddy Cent' that has been at the shelter for a few months already... he is short legged and long bodied and all waggly tail. Older dog, and adorable! Sadly... I got three already and can't be adding to the menagerie.
