Hi,
I am from the Mississippi Delta and plan to move down next May with my wife and my best friend. I was wondering if there are any others folks from this area that have made the move or plan to. I would love to get together and chat about moving!

Well, I'm not from the delta but am from Jackson. Have beend down for a PMV and loved it. Will be back in the fall to buy property.

Also originally from Jackson (graduated Callaway 1974), went to Delta State...my husband moves there next week, I will be 4-6 weeks behind transporting dogs! Which island are you moving to?

Plan to eventually move down, but will buy vacation property in the meantime. Will be down hopefully in october to complete a purchase. Almost bought a condo in February, then decided to wait.
