can anyone tell me if straight pipes are illegal in the islands,,I am planning to move to St Thomas with a Harley that has them now,,will I run into a problem during inspection,,,,thanx Jimmy

I hope so.
When in AZ I don't mind the sound of them at all, in fact I like them. But when on the island, especially on the beach I hate the loud cycles that sometimes come through. Especially the quads that race back and forth on the beach road.

If nothing else you will have a hard time with the new noise ordinance if they ever enforce it....
