We are two college students from Washington state and are thinking about moving to St. Croix or St Thomas for three months during summer break. How hard would it be to get a rental for three months and a job? Thanks for any help!

Our busy/high season is from Christmas through April. Summer is the slow season. It will be easy to find housing, but jobs will be harder.

Thanks Linda any informations is very helpful right now. Also As for the jobs both of us have quit a bit of experience working in different fields of construction. So my question is that which island would be most recommended for our short-term move?

As at least one mega casino has broken ground on top of what appears to be other significant construction projects for building complexes, I don't think the construction would be too hard to find work in. As it is, the casinos expect to have to bring people in from stateside or elsewhere even if they hire all the local workers.

I have an efficiency/studio apartment that is about a mile from Christiansted, and still open for a summer rental. If you would like pictures, just email me at Affiliationllc@aol.com.

Best wishes to you both,

Dan
