Hello! New to the message board. My friend and I are moving to USVI in November. We have not decided on which island we will live on yet. We have job opportunities on St. Croix and St. Thomas through our current jobs in Colorado.

Is anyone looking for two roommates or house-sitters in early November?

Any information that you could give us that could help with our move/transition would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Hey!

My name is Justin Lindsay and i am a 24 yr old from atlanta, ga coming down to the islands on October 1st. I am doing a work/ stay program on St. John for the first month. This is going to give me the chance to meet some people and find a job. I am looking for roommates after thats over in November. I would prefer to be on STJ for obvious reasons, but will settle for the east end of STT. Let me know if your interested. I am clean, respectul and very easy to get a long with. If nothing else it would be good to communicate and help each other with jobs and other things. Networking is key when going to a place like this. Hope to hear from yall

Justin Lindsay

Hey Justin! Thanks for the response. Have you visited to the USVI's yet. What makes you choose STJ? What work/stay program are you doing? We are interested in STJ because we are both yoga instructors among other things, and have heard the yoga scene is bigger in STJ. Other than that, we have a couple connections in STX, but have never been there. We are interested in any kind of work, we are currently working customer service at a high end fitness club in Denver. Grew up in the mountains and have lived in Colorado our whole lives and are ready for a change. We would like to meet as many people as possible and live with more than just us two, so we can find a reasonable place to rent. What about you? Talk to you soon!

Hi there!
I'm from Montana and am planning on moving down there early November. I'm also undecided on which island to live on. It will depend on my job situation. I'm 29 and have been in the ski industry for 10 years and also in the medical field for 2. I'd love to network and stay in touch as the time gets closer. I'm only planning on staying the winter though. I look forward to chatting more!
Thanks,
kaci

When you arrive you might take the ferry to Tortola and look up
Susanna Rice who grew up in the BVI but moved to SteamBoat Springs to live with friends and go to school. She is now back in the British Virgin Islands on her parents boat. We met her years ago when she was still a teenager.
