Yikes! My company talked to me a year ago about moving to St. Croix. Since then I've been lurking on this board, learning what I could from you good people. Today they call- can I be there Oct. 21st? My wife Robin has a blank look and alternately mumbles "wow!" and "goodness" every few seconds. We've got six kids, but one is in Germany (just back from Iraq, Thanks God), two in college, and three still at home- fourteen, seven, and five. We've lived in PR the last three years, Trinidad before that, so STX is just a backstroke away. We came in May for a look and loved it, so we're very excited, if a bit overwhelmed. I've been a lot of places, and the VI passes my test as one of the prettiest places on earth. We will have to rent- we're house-poor with a home in NH- can't sell it because Robin gets surly every time I try to evict her mother! We need four bedrooms and a pool- our babies are waterbabies. If anyone sees anything, let me know. I can be there in 24 hours. Wish us luck!
