Hello !
My boyfriend and I are getting ready to move to St. Thomas this summer to attend UVI! Any suggestions on purchasing a car? and what neighborhoods to avoid?

Oh and which cell phone service is best? I currently have T-mobile? Thank you!!

Most UVI students stick to the west end or northside. These are most convenient to class. Ditch the T-Mobile and get AT&T. The Island Trader is a great place to find your car when you get here. Have fun.

I agree that you would be best served on the west side or north side. However most jobs are on the south side and east side, which is more expensive to live also. And there are some jobs in town also.
As far as areas to be avoided their are several. Just look at the police reports. That will tell you where you don't want to live.
